Funny, touching and entertaining stories

I am so glad that I came across these books. They are funny, touching and entertaining. I have thoroughly enjoyed all three and highly recommend them.

Brilliant, clever, engaging stories

Fascinating stories, well-written, this book narrated by the author is always a joy. Dt. Smith is so virtuous and likable that you can't help but enjoy his tales.

Awesome read

Dr. Tom Smith is a fantastic story teller. I’m so glad that Audible is carrying his books. There are 3 books; read them in order so you understand the progression of his practice and his family life.
The stories are true, heartwarming, and uplifting.
The books would be great for listening together in the car with your family.
The author is also the narrator of his stories; and he does a fantastic job. He changes his voice for the different characters. The Scottish brogue is delightful.
In order not to wait for my next credit, I would just purchase them, they are at a reasonable price.
For a relaxing, G rated read this is great. I hope he comes out with more books about himself and his practice. He does have some medical information booklets made for patients to understand their conditions better. I have not investigated those yet. But he does give sound medical advice and care throughout his writings. Thank you Dr. Tom Smith; keep on writing.

This third book in the series was even better than the other two. I loved it so much I stayed up late at night and woke up early to listen.
The experiences he writes about have the very intentional heavy human feel of an excellent writer. It is effortless to laugh heartily at the enjoyable stories or to empathize with the people caught in dreadful situations. I can't believe all these stories are a part of one person's life! He really seems to have lived life until it was bursting at the seams. I'm so greatful that Audible suggested this series to me when I was having such a hard time. I will certainly try to find more of his work!

INCREDIBLE - AWESOME STORIES!!!!

My husband and I have listened to all 3 of Dr Tom Smith’s books on Audible. They are fascinating, fun and a very informative & enlightening view into the life of a Physician practicing in Scotland and around the world! We would highly recommend them!!! Of course it doesn’t hurt that our heritage is Ulster Scot and we’ve had the privilege to visit Scotland and the North Of Ireland, commonly known as Northern Ireland several times. We both love “the old country and considered the possibility of returning there to live from our home in the USA, had it not been for leaving our family we probably would have given it a go!!!
