Sallie grew up in a small town in N. Wisconsin. The new great depression was hopefully was coming to an end. Darren and her met at the lake and seemed to hit it off from the start. You would think you would know someone after dating for 3 years. But it ended up not the case. She had overlooked more about his personality than she should have. The clues had been there all along. Him being self-centered was only the beginning. After they married it was even worse.
How she ended up sitting in a cage with other captives near the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota is only part of it. Her so-called loving husband Darren is the one who brought her here to be a victim of these people's sadism. She has to find a way to escape and soon as her days are numbered along with the other captives.
