Holly Pearson had always felt a deep attraction to Tim Hamilton, her supervisor and coworker in a suburban Columbus, Ohio mortgage firm.
Not only was she attracted to him, but they were close and quite friendly.

But in spite of her attraction to the man, Holly would never pursue her feelings, as Tim was married, and she would never begin to make a move on a married man. But then, Tim’s marriage broke up, and soon after he took a position with another company in the same suburban town.

In a conversation with her best friend, who had a common acquaintance with Tim’s now former wife, something was revealed to Holly that gave her pause just as she was about ready to make contact with Tim: it was revealed to her that Tim and his wife had been very deeply involved in various forms of corporal punishment play.

Nonetheless, Holly did not want to totally shut the door. And just as she was about to give Tim a call, he called her… and asked her out to dinner. For a short time, they danced around the elephant in the room. But eventually Holly reached a point of no return: she would either have to break off the budding relationship, or tell Tim that she was willing to at least give his kink a try.
