Max and Tess

This is a story about being prepared and paying attention to the craziness in the world. Max and Tess have taken years to be fully prepared while living within their means. Now nearing retirement, their tranquil world is interrupted by a premonition of bad things to come. With Max’s hard won knowledge, he and Tess help their family to complete a shelter before the premonition comes true. Seven people work against the clock to complete the build in record time managing to strengthen family ties in the process. After a memorable New Year’s Eve, they will never be the same.

Interesting Book.

I have read several of this author’s books. I like his writing style, his characters, and his suggestions on preparing for various emergencies.

Political propaganda?

I chose this title very quickly before I jumped in the car. I usually don’t enjoy virtual voices or narration. I will say that this is the best one I’ve ever listened to only a few mistakes. The story was OK, but the little jabs of political opinions made the book Kind of unenjoyable and are really not important to the story. I wouldn’t suggest this book to anyone that didn’t want to be riled up by political rhetoric.
