When the first time alters each day that follows………….

For most, life is a series of seasons. The hard winter is in fair exchange for the inevitable warmth of the spring, when all things seem possible and some good and cheer can be realized.

Perhaps.

But for some, the warmth and comfort of spring eludes them, seemingly for a lifetime.

So it was with Rob Gregory and Pamela Freeman, whose lives converge one summer night in a tavern in the little town of Minster, Ohio. It was a meeting of chosen opportunity, leading to decades of moments of possibility alternating between promise and regret.

It is the story of two eighteen-year-olds months after graduation from high school in 1972. Several intense weeks bring them to the brink of an eternal union, but only to the degrees which each of them can call upon the strength of the human spirit.

Mating For Life is a recognition that disjointed circumstances and chance play a larger role in our lives than we would prefer or wish for in our search for explanations and orderliness.
