This is a novel length collection of nine short stories about relationships that are in trouble for various reasons. The reasons in these stories vary a lot, from pranks gone wrong, to cheating, to miscommunication. Many of these have a twist, plus, I am a romantic, so my stories often have endings that appeal to other romantics. Each is stand alone, and no characters appear in more than one of the stories.
Relationships can be tricky. All couples have disagreements, but some escalate out of control for no real reason. More common is some sort of miscommunication or misunderstanding. Lack of communication can cause a lot of issues. Some problems can be caused by a “practical” joke that has major unforeseen consequences. Then there is the big one, cheating. Can there be grey areas in cheating? Should cheating always result in a breakup? What are the questions which have to be answered when a relationship is in trouble? Does love conquer all? Is trust as important as love? What about respect? There is no “one size fits all” solution.
