A real inspiration for the black masses.

The man was light years ahead of his time. Bold, uncompromising a true leader who introduced a sense of pride we still struggle to hold on to, to this very day.

A good book,but...

This was a good book to listen to but I feel like something is missing.I will continue to do research on Mr. Garvey. The person reading had a pleasant sounding voice.

I liked it, but wanted more!

Very interesting biography, but much too short. I like brevity, but would have liked a deeper dive into this influential man. I liked that the bio did not shrink from all the controversies. Great voice artist.
