I Finally Understand How Influence Really Works

I picked this up out of curiosity, and I’m so glad I did. Manipulation Mystery made things super clear and easy to understand, even for someone like me who’s never read much about psychology. It helped me realize how subtle manipulation can be in everyday life—and more importantly, how to spot it and handle it. I liked how the book used real-life examples and kept it all grounded. It didn’t feel preachy or too technical. Just honest, practical advice that made me feel more confident in how I communicate with others. Definitely recommend it!

Solid listen for building mental strength

As an athlete, I’ve always focused on physical training and discipline but over time, I’ve learned that mental strength and awareness are just as important. This book caught my attention because I wanted to better understand how people influence each other, both on and off the field. I’m glad I gave it a listen. There were a few moments where the points felt a little repetitive, but overall, that just helped the core lessons sink in. If you're someone who wants to sharpen your mental game, become more self aware, and communicate more confidently, I’d recommend this. Whether you're in sports or not, there’s a lot here that applies to everyday life.

This well written book is easy to follow. I especially appreciate how it's for good people trying to be their best selves, who have to deal with manipulation.
I'll probably listen again, the next time I have to deal with difficult people. But yes, I feel smarter having reached the final page!

Lots to learn about influence, manipulation ...

I love how the author is also the narrator. Who better to present the content of the book than the person who wrote it. He does an exceptional job of giving the listener an entertaining, yet informative, outview of influence, mainipulation and human psychology. Definately worth your time to listen.
