It’s 2001, just months after the devastating attack on the Twin towers. As the U.S. is gearing up for a war on terrorism, an American covert operations unit in a southern Philippine island is attacked and massacred by guerillas tied to al Qaeda.
When it’s discovered that a rogue element of a foreign intelligence agency was behind the attack attempting to establish an alliance with al Qaeda, Langley must stop it. But with a war in Afghanistan about to explode, their resources are spread too thin.
In a ranch just outside Dallas, a decision is made to use outside operatives. Sauwa Catcher is an obvious choice. She joins with American mercenary Todd Caiten to organize and lead a hired fighting force to eliminate the al Qaeda threat and whoever is financing them.
From the remote jungles of Mindanao to the cosmopolitan streets of Manilla, Sauwa and Caiten fight a deadly cat and mouse war against a ruthless, sinister enemy.
