Written during the years that Mathewson managed the Cincinnati Reds (1916-18) this collection has never before been published in audiobook form and most have not been seen for over a century.

I love the performance here so much with all the different voices..but this is really the best of Matty during the era..it's a great intro for those who want to learn more about the Black Sox era..but it's missing the detail of unabridged version. I know that's OBVIOUS...but that's how groundbreaking this was..it takes you back..but makes you go,,"Gee, I know the basic stuff. More detail please."
