The artworks were looted by the Nazis in Budapest in 1944. But needing the money, Anita takes on this seemingly impossible task. As she heads off to Hungary, she has no idea of the dangers ahead.

One word!

Spoiler, yes I an aware I am nitpicky about words. Not just some, all of them. As I had anticipated, Mammon in Malmo was a good listen. I liked the writing and the narration. Then, chapter 43, … happened, the brilliant narrator brought everything to a halt with one word. Row, pronounced by narrator as in mow, tow. In context the word is (imo) pronounced row as in cow, now. I was ripped from one reality in Malmo back to the pile of laundry I am tackling today. Most unpleasant! This is the second narrator in a month to commit this offence.
That aside, excellent listen all round. If you like Nordic crime books, I recommend the series.
