Resumen del Editor

Nathan Treeves is dead, murdered by the Master of Mordew, his remains used to create the powerful occult weapon known as the Tinderbox.

His companions are scattered, making for Malarkoi, the city of the Mistress, the Master’s enemy. They are hoping to find welcome there, or at least safety. They find neither—and instead become embroiled in a life and death struggle against assassins, demi-gods, and the cunning plans of the Mistress.

Only Sirius, Nathan’s faithful magical dog, has not forgotten the boy. Bent on revenge, he returns to the shattered remains of Mordew—only to find the city morphed into an impossible mountain, swarming with monsters.

The stage is set for battle, sacrifice, magic and treachery in the stunning sequel to Mordew. Welcome to Malarkoi.

Can’t wait for the next installment of this story

I have enjoyed this series so much. I only tried it because I adore the narrator but it’s a fascinating combination of world building and philosophy. I recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy.

Try it

This is a super unique series. Book two answers a lot of questions lingering from the first book while presenting whole new mysteries to pull you in deeper. Perfect narration. Don’t miss it.

Absolutely Incredible In Every Sense

This book, “Malarkoi” being the sequel to 2020’s excellent “Mordew” and the second in “The Cities Of The Weft” Trilogy, was even more compelling, heart-wrenching, and thought provoking than it’s predecessor. Through the deft use of a mind-bending magic system, beautifully written philosophic prose, and a pinch of Weft mysticism-this book held me in its treachery-soaked grip with a vengeance. Just like Mordew, Malarkoi plays at events still to come, and built simultaneously along with its narrative, an anticipation for the final book in the trilogy that burns with a fervor so intense-I can only compare it to the fervor with which we all wait for Patrick Rothfuss’ third installment of “The Kingkiller Chronicles”. Malarkoi is unforgiving, Malarkoi is bleak, Malarkoi is malicious…and I loved every second of it. If you’re looking for the next phenomenon of Potter-esque levels, READ THIS BOOK SERIES IMMEDIATELY. It is vastly unknown/underrated currently so get in on the ground floor, and for the love of GOD DOG, talk to me about it. My friends don’t know what I’m talking about.
