Christina’s story:

She has no desire to get mixed up in any of the illegal businesses her family owns. She’s earned a Masters in Business and Communications on her own dime, and just landed her dream job as Director of Marketing for an up and coming business.

Marriage and a family aren’t in her game plan right now. When her grandfather announces that he’s arranged a marriage for her with a good Italian man, Christina goes ballistic. She’s marrying a man of her own choosing, not some member from another crime family.

Urged by her sister to at least check the guy out, she goes to his family’s bar to confirm her suspicions. Except she meets a handsome biker that knows exactly how to send her body into overdrive. Realizing the hunky man is the one her grandfather wants her to marry sends her into flight mode, even though he haunts her dreams.

Can Saks convince the woman of his dreams to look past his family connections and take a chance on a lowly motorcycle mechanic? And if he does, can he look past hers?

A Cliffhanger REALLY!

SERIOUSLY! Wth would this book need a cliffhanger!? It lasted long enough as it is. The storyline was going a long well. A little too much word vomit at times. But a cliffhanger!?

Great listen!!!

Another great book by this author that I was hooked on from the start! Listen/ read about Sak's and Chrissy's story, yes its a cliff hanger but you will enjoy this great read/listen. I recommend this book you will not be disappointed. On to the next one in the series!! Love the characters and the story line!!!

Making Her His, an Audiobook by Lexy Timms was a fascinating, romantic story of Saks and Chrissy. He’s a motorcycle mechanic and she’s a marketing director. Both have families they’d rather not be involved with…but, they’re family. They meet and the sparks fly instantly!! But, both have obligations to meet and situations that they can’t control…so, a relationship is out of the question. Can they move past all of the obstacles placed before them and get together? Wait until they find out the truth!!!

LOVED this story of crossed wires and unexpected love. Ends in a cliffhanger…

Narrated beautifully by Hanna Pralle, she does an unbelievable performance of this story, lifting it beyond what I would get from a straight reading. She’s phenomenal!!!

~Good Beach Read~

This review is for Making Her His (Book #1 Beating The Biker) by Lexy Timms. Although this was a super quick listen @ 4 hrs/26min, and a cliffhanger, I really enjoyed it.

I won’t reiterate the full summary, but I will say the story revolves around Saks and Christina, two strangers who meet in a bar and hook up one night. They’re both unaware that they each come from rival crime families, and these families are trying to push them into an arranged marriage with one another. What happens when they finally realize that they are the two being set up for this marriage??

I would suggest this to all as the perfect beach read. It’s easy to follow, lighthearted, with a splash of some down right steamy hot scenes. The narration by Hannah Pralle was good too. I was able to differentiate easily between the various voices of each person. Great job!

Mature audiences only, and warning, it ends on a cliffhanger (no worries, the next book is available!)

Chrissy and Saks, two people who love their families, but hate that they’re being told what to do. When the find there’s chemistry between them, will they abandon their family’s plans...

Lexy Timms knows how to build the tension and set the stage for some great fireworks. Bring on the next book!

I really enjoyed the narration by Hannah Praile. I thought she did a great job of expressing the characters emotions.

Love this!!

I loved that it was more the love story then the MC/Mafia world and can't wait to listen to book 2. I couldn't stop listening to it once I started.
