Which character – as performed by Joe Smith – was your favorite?

It's a toss-up between Jeremiah and his mother, Verna. I loved Verna for her kind heart and Jeremiah for his exuberant nature. I really enjoyed how Mr. Smith read Verna's elderly voice - perfect!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I especially liked the first meeting of Jeremiah and Cassie, and particularly Verna's comment about Jeremiah - a real chuckler! :-) But I was really taken aback by the surprise ending of this story - certainly wasn't expecting that!

Any additional comments?

There were so many wonderful Bible verses quoted in this story, many were already favorites, but now I have some new favorites as well! All are so encouraging and reminders that we just need to trust God in all areas of our lives. We need to stop thinking that we can do things in our own strength; it's God we need to focus on each moment of each day!

Only by God's grace!
