Dr. Joseph Corba is a man of science and believes in logic but his family believes that a curse looms over their family. Joseph seeks to dispel this belief by beginning his residency at a hospital that is widely known for the strange and unusual. He hopes to prove to his family, and himself, that there is no curse that plagues them and to once more affirm there is no threat beyond our eyes.Dr. Corba is also anxious to begin learning from Dr. Kilgore, a pioneer in the field of mental rehabilitation. He seeks to not only heal his charges but to explore the furthest limits of the human condition and there is a secret project deep in the bowels of the asylum that will challenge everything either doctor has come to know.There are many secrets on Kennison Island and as they are exposed, Dr. Corba will be lucky to escape with his life, much less his own sanity.
