A Battle With Dementia

My wife, Lynne, died from complications of severe dementia at the age of sixty-four. She was very ill for the last year of her life but suffered from memory loss, weight loss, and frequent falls for more than fours years prior to her death. In this memoir, I tell the story of her malady and try to capture the impact of her illness and death on my children, other family members, and friends. It is a sad story, but I hope it provides solace to others who have interacted with or cared for loved ones with dementia.
