Lust for Lights

In high school, Jesse Wolfson was a star. Some years later, his life is a mess. Having lost his scholarship after a career-ending injury and following several false starts, he ends up in Las Vegas, working menial jobs at a hotel & casino. Secretly, Jesse hopes to become a successful playwright. But the only writing job he could get is for a third-rate erotic flick.

After a chance encounter with a girl he went to high school with, who's struggling too, Jesse's life is transforming drastically. They virtually have nothing except for themselves. Only their mutual affection promises atonement. But Las Vegas gives and yet takes even more, as they'll soon have to learn. Can they save what they have from the sharks? Or will redemption still lead to purgatory...
