Luke Evans reads Robert Louis Stevenson's swashbuckling tale of danger, excitement and buried treasure.
Treasure Island is one of the most gripping children's stories of all time. It describes the tale of Jim Hawkins and his attempt to find Captain Flint's legendary treasure, while foiling the infamous pirate Long John Silver.
When young Jim Hawkins discovers a map in an old sea chest, he joins the crew of the Hispaniola and sets sail for Treasure Island. Little does he know that among the crew is the dastardly Long John Silver, and Silver has a devious plan to keep the gold all to himself. Can Jim outwit the most infamous pirate ever? Will he escape from Treasure Island alive?
The story of Jim's bravery and resourcefulness - as well as his struggle to survive - features treachery and adventure on the high seas.

Beautifully Read
Luke Evans reads this abridged classic with all the merit of his profession. The voices and various accents help the listener become emersed in the story. I enjoyed it's brevity while working away knowing that I could start and finish it in less than a work day.

Narration is first rate... story too abridged
Luke Evans narrates this story wonderfully! I realized the story was abridged, however this version was abridged to the point where it affected comprehension of the novel.
