Lucky Winner

Lucky Winner continues exploring Dimase's origin story with Iraq War veteran, Keith Stone, who has won mega-bucks and is twelve years into his twenty-year payout of twenty-five million per year. Single, and living the high life, things start to unravel when he realizes two of the several beneficiaries that he had named to receive payment in the event of his own premature demise were, in fact, dead themselves, each the victim of an unusual accident. Dimase gets involved in the case as a favor to an old colleague at the Cambridge PD who was related to one of the victims. As beneficiaries continue to fall, the logical conclusion is that one of the surviving beneficiaries is the most likely perpetrator. The only problem is that none of the potential suspects was ever in a position to possibly commit the murders. Sometimes the deadliest answers are hiding in plain sight.
