Loving the Lady is the 11th regency romance in The Lady Series.
Growing up, Andrew Gillingham paid little attention to Amanda Abbott. Thinking of her only as the neighbor’s bothersome younger daughter, his interactions with her mostly involved rebuking her girlish adoration.
Years later, when they are reintroduced to polite society, Andrew is taken aback. Amanda, fresh out of finishing school, is no longer the shy, lanky slip of a girl he remembered. What’s more, she seems entirely unaware of how lovely she has become–or that Laurence du Campion has set his sights upon her.
While Andrew cannot find fault with du Campions, a French noble of fine breeding, he finds himself unsettled by the thought that Amanda might return Laurence’s affection upon discovering his feelings.
Is it too late for Andrew to remind Amanda she used to love him? Or has he lost his chance with her forever?

This book doesn't have quite the substance the other books in this series has. So I can't rate is as high. But it is a well written and enjoyable listen.
Again Zane Boyer presents this story well. I really loved his child voices. 5 stars for him.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook from the author through Story Origin.

Book 5 of the series. It does well as part of the series, or as a stand alone book. Amanda has always known she was going to marry Andrew, but Andrew did not know it. She tagged along and pestered him as a child, to the point he avoided her. Now they are grown up, and Andrew discovers she is not the pest he recalled as a child. The story is well written and engaging. The characters are interesting and relatable. The narration was well done. I received a free copy of this audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.
