Love the Boss

Even though Alex claims not to know how to love, his heart is opening for Jamie. Ruby Rivers did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Why did we change narrators between books?

The narrator has a whiny voice that that makes the main characters sound like a valley girl. I think I may have to read the rest since her voice is that irritating. Overall the book is good outside of the narrator.

Narration not nearly as good as the other books

The story did not disappoint. If you read books 1-3 and enjoyed them you will also enjoy book 4, however I would think the puppy would not be in the “garage” can but maybe the “garbage” can and most likely Jamie was showing off her Derrière not her “der- rear” and other mistakes such as these, also Alex spoke as if he was always running out of breath, not in a sexy way. This does not stop me from recommending the book however and these mistakes and voices are extremely tolerable. The story is wonderful and the voices aren’t terrible just slightly lacking.

Narrator sucks!!!!

I love the story of Jamie and Alex, but almost stopped listening due to the narration.

Great story but I really dislike the new narrator

Why did the series change narrators? The new voice was n shake where as good as Hannah P. The male characters sound childish or even cartoonish at times. with the change in narration I most likely will not listen to the rest of the series, I really do not like the change. I might finish the series by actually reading them, but I'm not sure yet. Really a bummer.

Awful Performance

Books #1-3 were good enough for me to want to know what happened after. Imagine my disappointment upon hearing Ruby Rivers making this book sound like horrible, cheap porn. It's one of the most nerve grating things to hear her moan, breathe heavily, and put on a fake porno voice throughout the book. At this point, I'm only listening because I don't like cliffhangers, and not following through, simply on principle. But I will be staying away from books read by her in the future.

Loved the story, but ....

Loved the story, but I was not crazy about the narrator on this book. The one who did it on the box set 1-3 was much better

Good Read

Love the Boss (Managing the Bosses #4) was a good read by Lexy Timms. Jamie Conors wants to prove to her boss that she's worth her weight in gold or diamonds. Billionaire Alex Reid is not only her boss but her lover. He wants her to move in but he wants more. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.
