Ash wakes up in a tent in Greece it's cold he pokes his head through the flap and it's snowing. He crosses the Mediterranean and is almost abducted onto a Kibbutz to pick grapefruit but there he meets the beautiful Adelaide. They have a picnic in the Golan heights and that is fabulous until Axel realizes that they are picnicking in a mine field. They go travelling and they find themselves sleeping on a stone floor at the Jaffa Gate in the Walls of Jerusalem not exactly a romantic hideaway. They visit the holy sites in Bethlehem and end up in the middle of a gun battle. They go to Cairo visit the pyramids and get a bout of dysentery on the first day. They are bed ridden and can hardly stand up. Is love enough to get them through or are they finished?
