LOVE AND WAR. Love and War, is the second book in the series, THE WORD.
In Love and War, we meet more of the protagonists embroiled in the complex plots and counter-plots that form the fabric of the tale. Colonicus, the mad medieval wizard, is released from his five-hundred year confinement and goes on the rampage. Korti Jizel, the super-intelligent alien assassin takes Robert, one of Colonicus's manufactured super-humans, on a madcap journey through time to witness the greatest battle that humanity never heard about; the Dragon War.
Many other characters join the story now and nothing and no-one is what they appear to be. Back on board the Emanon, trapped in a temporal bubble plugging a fourteen thousand-year deep temporal anomaly that is threatening to destroy the planet, our intrepid heroes have their own complex intrigues to resolve.
Meanwhile, an unconscious John and his golden dragon partner, start a journey that could result in them becoming the most potent and dangerous creature the universe has ever seen: And they may not be alone on that journey. Cam, the supreme intelligence at the centre of our universe, looks on and is very, very worried.
