This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Performers make stories difficult to enjoy
I listen to all Louis L’Amour Audibles.
I enjoy the stories and replay my favorites. Some of the readers make the stories more enjoyable and some of the performers make it impossible to enjoy the books. There is a quality in their voices that distract from the story rather than enhance it. Sorry to say I have purchased these books and find it impossible to listen to them again because of the readers.
