Jack Harper, a former drug addict living on the streets of Lincoln Nebraska, is no ordinary homeless man. For years he had always felt as if he were lost in perdition, but the genuine kindness shown by Kate and her son makes him realize there is so much more to life than mislaid hopes and dreams.

WOW, SUCH A HEARTFELT STORY 💗

This story was so well written. It sucks you in and you can’t wait to see what the outcome is. You want Jack to make all the right decisions when he’s making all the wrong ones. Just listening to how his life panned out made me upset and sad, but then happy and content. Just when you think life for Jack has hit rock bottom, he makes life so much more for others. They could not have picked a better storyteller for the audio version of this book. I have to say, this is the best audiobook I have listened to yet and I have listened to many. The gentleman reading this brings out the story like nobody else could. You can feel that the writer of the story wrote this with so much conviction and passion in her heart, and you can feel it through her storyline.

This was such a great listen with many tears. Highly recommend! Beautifully written and read.
