good story, iccky narration.

i really disliked the virtual voice. the story was engaging. too bad the narration was so distorted. no real emotion from a robot.

Less Than Average

I like the computer-generated narration over a lot of the human ones. The computer narrations are clear, easy to understand and have good volume. As far as the story goes it is less than stellar. The writer has made the friend policeman's character ridiculous allowing the mother to be on scene when the car is discovered, any responsible policeman would have locked her in the car rather than put the case and his job in jeopardy. Also allowing her in the interrogation room should and would never be allowed and should have gotten the policeman in big trouble and possible firing. i know the story is a fiction novel but to be so farcy just lends stupidity to the whole story and makes the woman seem seen pretty stupid and obnoxious. There is such a thing as bending the rules a little and totally breaking them. Overall, I think the policeman has been portrayed as pretty ignorant allowing the woman to so absurdly boss him around.
