Resumen del Editor

Faithful Catholics are beginning to realize it’s not their imagination. Pope Francis has led them on a journey from joy to unease to alarm and even a sense of betrayal. They can no longer pretend that he represents merely a change of emphasis in papal teaching. Assessing the confusion sown by this pontificate, Lost Shepherd explains what’s at stake, what’s not at stake, and how loyal believers should respond.

Dated

Written several years ago, the author has no idea of the apostasy to come. A new edition or epilogue would be welcome.

VALID book that exposes the CORRUPTION of the Catholic Church.

Lawler addressed valid points throughout the book, and backed up his points with evidence. This book only CONFIRMED that I made the right choice in leaving the church when I did….back in 2009. The corruption within this organization runs deep, and Lawler exposes every bit of it. The church does not believe in a divorced person that remarries, and does not seek annulment within the church, before remarriage, cannot go to communion. NO PRIEST, CARDINAL, BISHOP OR POPE will tell me that I cannot go to communion; especially since there is so much sexual abuse that is swept under the rug. Lawler is an exceptional author. Tom Parks is a good narrator. Honestly, I could not get enough of this book.

Double minded at times with no insight

The author talks a lot about the confusion the Pope has brought but then often seems to contradict his own thoughts or just layout ideas with no meaning. The book just winds loosely all over and doesn't seem to draw any conclusions. The author needs to figure out what is hypotheses is before writing a book like this. He doesn't seem to want a hypothesis because of his personal Catholic views that the Pope can't have a motive that is against the Catholic church.
