Good story

Listening to this series out of order (on accident) and they are still good as stand alone. I don’t feel like I’m missing a lot from previous books.

Fun Adventure Marred By Virtual Voice

The AI narrator mispronounced words and placed incorrect emphasis on words in sentences, making disconcerting flaws and a bumpy story. This would have been much better with a human narrator. “Hypatia” got lost in the narrative as did the whole lava tube rabbit hole.

Virtual voice lacking

This is the first audiobook I have listened to read in a virtual voice. It lacks emotion, character distinction, and overall is flat.

Stilted pronunciation of some names

Attention keeping plot. some unnecessary redundancies in the story, and the AI narration lacked something in terms of pronunciation of foreign names. but overall, a really good romp thru archeology, with good vs evil and interesting characters! highly recommend, and I'll be reading more by this author!

Great adventure

I liked the adventure and exploration of the characters and their strong bonds. A fun read.
