Lost Dragons of Spinfire

Lost Dragons of Spinfire is the second book in the Dragons of Spinfire series. The story of Beryl and her dragon, Boram, continues. Fishermen find an unconscious dragon on Oralia Beach by the capital city of Tonnat who is brought to Beryl's reserve, a place where dragons train to lead independent lives. This dragon is unlike any other since its scales are scarlet red. As the red dragon recovers, Boram and Beryl communicate with him, learning he came to get help for his colony, which is in deep peril. Eventually, Beryl and Boram travel with others to Spier's home, the Dead Isles, a desolate place far out in the Eastern Ocean. It is soon apparent that the rescue mission is not only for the dragons but for another trapped on the island.
