Resumen del Editor

Tired of being the second-best Babcock, Levi “501” Babcock is ready to outshine his older brother. Outranking his brother proves harder than he imagined—until he meets a sinfully sexy gold-medal-winning figure skater. She might be the prize he’s been searching for all along.

Bubbly and spirited Cadence Johnson is determined to escape the shackles of her former partner. Moving to Portland gives her the fresh start she’s craved, but the last thing she can afford is a distraction like Levi Babcock.

When Cadence’s past comes back to threaten her and her life is on the line, Levi might be the safety net she never realized she needed. But will Levi still care about losing an edge to his biggest rival, or can he finally step out of his brother’s shadow to become the hero in his own game?

Levi and Cadence set the ice on fire ...

Levi and Cadence set the ice on fire in Losing an Edge. Catherine Gayle mixes the importance of family, heart and a sense of belonging to create a story that has a lot to offer. Losing an Edge is not just beautiful words and compromising situations. It is a look at a relationship that grows between two people in a time of need.

Another amazing story!

Once again the author and narrator tell a wonderful story in a dynamic and engaging way. This installment in the series will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This Should Have Been Better

This book had an interesting story line and some very likable characters but was ruined for by too much profanity, unrealistically overprotective male characters, dialog that was more often than not shouted instead of spoken, and bratty children whose bad behavior was regarded fondly by their parents . I am guessing that the author was trying for funny but I just found it forced and out of place. Because I liked the story I stayed with the book much longer than I normally would have but the bratty kid finally became too much for me and I didn’t finish it.
