Absolute killer

I've always searched for a rugby book that was inspiring and Joe marler killed it. This book made me love the game more, but also look at myself as a person. His honesty of personal hardships is a eye opener, and makes me want to do better for myself, not only as a person but as a player and a dad.

I loved this!

This book was wonderful! Maybe because I was a prop in college I knew what to expect - but this book was exactly what I expected. Disappointed it got so many poor reviews. Joe does a great job reading it too!

Honesty and humility in the narration

As a lifelong fan of rugby this is a refreshing biography exploring what it means to be a man growing up in the sport. It's an honest look at why we love the game and the human struggles attached to life and sport.
