Love the picture of how things can seem to be so rotten, but if having the upright attitude it can affect so many people in a positive way.
It is a mindset!
But such a fun story! Many plots and characters throughout it. It kept my attention and can’t wait for the nest book!

Exciting adventure comes to life

I’ve read the paper book, but listening was like the book coming alive. The narrator is wonderful and shows distinguished characters in his voice changes. He is easy to understand and it helps to have the pronunciation of some of the names.
It is uplifting, encouraging, mysterious, and thrilling all at the same time; while pointing our hearts toward Christ’s redemption. Even in the middle of dangerous courage and loss, there is a thread of love and suspense that draws you in. It is a wonderful story and I’m looking forward to the sequel!

Thrilling story with incredible narration!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys thrilling Christian fantasy! It is a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat preventing you from wanting to put it down. The biblical values and adventure throughout each chapter made it very enjoyable. The narration is incredible and reflects the characters very well.

Excellent Debut!

Excellent Christian values, good story, and characters you’ll love. I admit it took me a few chapters to get into the story, but once I did, I couldn’t put it down.
I love how well the struggles of the Christian faith is shown and how hard it can be for a lost person to understand sometimes.
The descriptions are also very well done, easy to picture the world and characters within.
Looking forward to book 2!! Keep up the good work!

Great Christian adventure! LOVE the narrator/voice.

Loved the guys voice- the accent is cool and I like that it’s not too over-the-top but still good acting! The story is captivating. Lots of Christian vibes and a salvation experience but still a good adventure story.

Enthralling Christianity with Flying Dragons

I'm always on the lookout for faith-building fantasy and sci-fi novels. This story hits a 5 on all levels. The story follows a young man named Wyth who, though he wants to do right, lives in a world where everything is against him. An accidental find of a mysterious parchment throws him into the adventure of a lifetime just as his world goes to war. Meanwhile, we also see characters from the other side of the war likewise trying to do right or ruthlessly pursuing power. Many puzzles begin to be unwound, including the identity of the mysterious traitor who is exposing every attempt to overcome the enemy and the secrets of a young man named Wolf. As I listened to the story, I was enraptured by the story world which felt authentically true and real. While this story world has soldiers who ride flying dragons, it also includes a true faith in Jesu (Jesus Christ), and the characters struggle with either how to live a faithful life or why to even believe in a world of such suffering. The authenticity of the faith is what most drew me in to the story, because it is truly such a part of my own life and worldview. (My only critique of this audiobook is keeping track of the character names. Not seeing them with my eyes, remembering the strange names from one scene to another later in the book, became an impediment to fully understanding who is who. I think a pdf glossery of the names would be a great benefit to audiobook listeners.) Highly recommend this novel. The ending is a jaw-dropping, freeze-frame twist. Can't wait to read on!
