In 1959, a church in Pierce's Crossing, GA, burned to the ground, killing a civil rights leaders and his wife. No one has ever come to justice for this arson of an historic church, bult by freed slaves. Who did it? Why and how was it covered up? Are the killers still alive? Sixty years later, Scott Wallace, editor of the town newspaper, is approached by the new pastor of the church to write articles about the commemoration of the crime. She also wants the investigation opened. Scott and his staff become investigators and characters in this drama to bring justice to the community.
