Well-Narrated Story Full of Suspenseful Fun

This listen had a little bit of everything—suspense, excitement, a twist I didn’t see coming, a touch of romance, and solid narration to bring it all together. The romance wasn’t the main focus, but it blended in nicely with the story. Overall, a really enjoyable listen.

Lone Star Payback by Delores Fossen is an amazing romance. Marcus Barton did an amazing job with the narration. Lone Star Payback is the third book in the series Hard Justice. A former military special ops officer named Marco Morrelli end up protecting Rayna Brandon who is a skilled Operative herself. When she is put on a hit list things don’t go the way she wants. Great character development. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.would recommend

This story is action packed, adventurous. As the team is trying to find a stalker / killer. Several suspects, some that were considered were kidnapped or murdered. Marcus Barton narration is exciting in this action packed story by Delores Fossen. Thank you for a great listen.

Lone Star Payback is book three in the Hard Justice series featuring Maverick Ops. This story involves Marco and Rayna who are well acquainted with each other on and off the job. Now they avoid each other for reasons that you will discover by reading or listening to this book. There is a lot of action, drama, mystery, suspense and finally romance and love. This story was masterfully narrated by Marcus Barton. His portrayal of these characters was brilliant. He truly brought this story to life. I highly recommend listening.

Lone Star Payback is book #3 in the Hard Justice series. Marco Morelli and Rayna Brandon are co-workers, ex-lovers, and now forced together on a case. They must rely on each other and put aside their past hurts and regrets to survive a killer. What drove them apart will now bring them together. I absolutely love every book in this Texas-based romantic suspense series. Looking forward to more!!

Marcus Barton is forever the voice of Delores Fossen books for me. His timing and delivery of all the characters really brings the story to life. A favorite narrator for me. 5/5 stars!!
