Funny and compelling

Clever use of the unreliable narrator concept. Made me laugh and kept me guessing to the end.

Great narrators, captivating story

The story was gripping. There were a few annoying bits in the story but the narrators did a great job in keeping me hooked.

Loved It

Loved the pace of this book. It kept me interested from the first chapter and I was up nights listening to it. I loved how it kept me guessing as to who did it. I definitely didn’t see the end coming at all!! Lots of great twists and I loved Lucy’s dark sense of humour throughout! Highly recommend this book.

A gripping story that is imaginatively performed. Very promising debut into adult fiction. Authentic and relatable characters weaving a gripping story of intrigue

Who did it?

I have listened to books read by Will before but the combination of him and his wife narrating this made it come alive. I love the humour and the serious aspects including domestic violence. Great book

Best Book Ever

I was hook from chapter 1. I loved everything about this book! The performance was amazing btw, such a well-rounded audio production- not just read, it is honestly performed. But the story? Wow! I honestly don't always love every single thing about a book, but this had every little thing you need. Mystery, thrill, romance… just wow! I listened to it straight through the night, and I adore this kind of books.
