This was my first experience with this author's work, and I enjoyed it a lot. I thought the story was magical. I loved the lyrical language which painted beautiful pictures within my own imagination. I liked Lila who was strong enough to face her fear. I appreciated the themes which flowed throughout the story. I was amazed by Grace Noble's narration as her performance was a joy to listen to, and she added to my enjoyment of the story. I was gifted a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
