This children's book is perfect for bringing up the subject of children feeling confident and at ease with their body and how they look. It is the story of a young elephant who discovers that not everyone in the world is alike, but that nature has given to each one exactly what is needed for survival. This includes Nezo himself who learns to be grateful for his long trunk and his heavy body. Listening to the book with your children provides a good opportunity for you to talk to them about being polite to others and grateful for the way they are made. You can also talk to your kids about self-confidence, self-esteem, and the fact that everyone and everything in nature is beautiful in its own way. Nature knows what each of us needs to be successful and stay alive, even as our young elephant hero finds out.
This audiobook is a companion to the picture book.

Cute self acceptance audiobook!
If you could sum up Liking Who I Am in three words, what would they be?
True to yourself
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
This book is fairly quick as any children's book would be. I love the topic it covers and I can just play this audiobook whenever my kids are sleeping.
Any additional comments?
The story covers topics such as politeness, confidence, and self-esteem. All the things that children these days need to know. Great children's book in my opinion.

It provides a good lesson about being polite to others and grateful for the way they are made. Kids will learn to gain their self-confidence and self-esteem. My son love reading this to him before he sleep. Good pictures too! This is an excellent book for kids!
