She just keeps getting better.

I'm not objective when it comes to this genius' writing. I've gobbled up everything she writes and The Desert Magician's Duology is no different. Be prepared to immerse yourself and be sad when it ends, even if all good things must come to an end. The narration is top tier and incredible. Enjoy!

I will admit, I wanted to pummel the characters when they seemed to miss the obvious. The story and eorld are excellent. The story, relatable. will definitely purchase the hard copy, fir my collection.

Part II, just as awesome as the first book!

The overall story of love, life and survival is awe inspiring. This is a must read to complete your journey of Edgie, Arif, and Digie Ogu! It will not disappoint.

Make a good compliment to the first book

I definitely recommend reading both books of this duology. Something I appreciated a lot about this one in particular was the way the author wove in content warnings. I was surprised but never felt unprepared for the darker moments and themes when they came up.

Unconventional

This is the second book of a duology that I found to be unconventional. The character development and the plot are twisty only because of the uniqueness of the authors writing style. This story is a one person perspective that I found at times was hard to follow. And for this reason, I gave this book a 3 1/2 stars. I also found the due to their authors, unique writing style. The plot was also a bit challenging at times to follow - like it’s a head scratcher. Where is this plot going?How is the author going to end it? At the end, I found it to be odd and somewhat unsatisfying due to abruptness of it all.

The main characters never seem to fully realize their power. It was very frustrating.
