They have escaped the mall of death, but not its darkness; it chases them on, as they walk towards the city and towards the answers they seek. The darkness is more menacing, but they won’t be facing it alone this time.

They reunited after almost a decade; now that time is scarce, they must overcome their weaknesses quickly or suffer the consequences. Their rapid escape left them with physical and emotional scars. They may have loved each other from a distance, but being together is a whole different feat.

The conflicted couple has one goal that surpasses all others; get back the code Victor had foolishly uploaded to his pursuers, and while doing so, find out what is causing the phenomenon of darkness. One is only as good as the company they keep, but having more people to help with the cause also means more risk of having a traitor amongst one's ranks.
