this is a good reminder of why God put us here and how we should embrace life, with all our struggles and triumphs. That there is life everywhere!

Compelling Material Read with Heart

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Matt's narration is from the heart - when he tells you about his own personal experiences, you can hear his deep emotion in his voice. Very moving!

Any additional comments?

The truths in this book are rarely discussed in Christian circles - that it is acceptable, in fact, expected, that we live life here on earth savoring and enjoying what God has created. No need to delay the enjoyment of the New Life we have received until "Heaven." I say "Amen" to that!

Move this to the top of your list.

Outside of the books of the Bible, this is one of the best. The audio version is fantastic, especially since it's read by the author, and you can tell his emotions. Some parts got me bogged down but then he ties together and ends each chapter with an astounding last paragraph or sentence, that you have to pause and think and try and parlay into the way you live.

This would be a fantastic book or audio book for those who have gotten tired or fed up or turned off by the church. if you could get that person to listen to or read it.

Conduit or Tomb

I don't write this review just because Matt Heard is my Pastor. I don't write this review because he is an Auburn fan -- yuck! Roll Tide. I write this review because of the practical insights Matt has given about living your Life! Not just lung-breathing, heart-beating life. But capturing REAL life in those moments when the very presence of God manifests in full view of your witness. I have measured my life, up til now, based on Kronos (accomplishments over time). Now, I will measure my life in Kiros (God moments in time). Additionally, instead of capturing all the goodness of Christ in my bucket (tomb), I want MORE of the love of Christ to conduit (pipe) to the world. Thanks Pastor Matt!

Superb writing and recording. Encouraging work that both instructs and delights. Author doesn’t preach at you but comes along side and walks you through avenues of life and points out how everything we experience - the good and bad - takes on different colors and meanings when you come to know the author of life, Christ Jesus. For the discouraged, the bored, the empty, the busy bee, this book is for you. The vibrant writing embodies the message and it is life-giving
