Lies are subtle things. They can lead to all kinds of trouble. Sometimes the original trouble resurfaces decades later and emerges into the territory occupied by Flora BeGora during her investigations. Yes, she's at it again! She doesn't mean to be. All she wanted was a break from the turmoil and danger of some of her latest probes into the criminal culture. Now, after her initial accidental discoveries, she fights the urge to get involved and finally just gives in--with a little prodding from the local police department.
