Eye opening info of organizations that supposedly help blacks but have hidden agendas that do the opposite! After WWII the blacks played a large part in building the middle class. Read to understand what happened and how they declined. Everyone should read this book. Thank you Burgess Owens for writing it!

Best political book I've read in years.

Owens deserves major credit for taking such an unpopular stance, yet his logic is sound and his principles are obvious. This book, while being written primarily through a black American's perspective with a likewise audience, ought to be read by every American. Very powerful. A side note: who wouldn't want a man like this for president?!

Love the content, but like others, it’s hard to listen to it...

Like most others, I was so very interested and excited about this book. But also like other reviewers, I found it difficult to listen to and focus on because of the narration. I recommend the Burgess Owens going to the studio and record the book himself. It would be much more captivating and exciting for the listener to hear the stories directly from him.

But overall the content of the book is spot on and just what I was looking for!
