Acerca de esta escucha
Ever find that no matter what you achieve, there’s this voice in your head saying, “You’re not good enough” or “It’s just a matter of time before they find out”? You appear confident to others but secretly feel insecure and anxious inside. You hold back on sharing your ideas or going for opportunities because you worry you’re not good enough. You’re constantly overthinking, anxious, and stuck in self-doubt. You’re not imagining it. That’s imposter syndrome, and it’s something many of us deal with. But here’s the thing: the problem isn’t you. It’s the story you’ve been taught to believe about yourself. Stop your overthinking negative spirals and second-guessing yourself. This book isn’t some dry self-help lecture filled with quick fixes or surface-level advice. It’s like sitting down with a wise friend who gets what you’re going through. It helps you dig into the root of those nagging feelings of self-doubt and helps you start seeing yourself in a whole new way. No fake-it-till-you-make-it posturing—just real, practical steps to quiet the inner critic and feel good about who you are.
With 25+ years of experience as a personal leadership coach, Serena Choo dives deep into why you feel the way you do and offers easy-to-apply ideas that actually stick. She's created what feels like a personalized workshop guiding you step by step, with relatable stories and 23 actionable tools that build real change. Serena’s proven strategies, developed through years of personal coaching and her own experiences, help you let go of imposter syndrome without digging into the past or trying to find blame. Fantastic audiobook!
This is something I have struggled with many times before at various stages of my life (changing jobs, having success in a business, etc...). This audiobook is packed with wonderful examples, stories, tips and guidance to help you through this and better understand this complex topic. The narrator does a really good job with pace and tone and is able to keep your interest through the audiobook. Very informative and worth the listen for anyone who has felt imposter syndrome before.

A brand new sense of self worth
When it comes to authenticity and expressing who we truly are to the world, it is no small feat and requires a gargantuan revolution in our paradigms, behaviors, and the way we view ourselves. Because when we are not viewing ourselves from our higher self’s perspective (seeing our inherent greatness in the form of compassion, talents, abilities, and strengths, etc), we are not giving ourselves nearly enough credit. However, Serena Choo seeks to remedy this in her excellent title “Letting go of imposter syndrome” but offering listeners the tools and paths to recognize their strengths, talents, and abilities, honor them, and optimize easy-to-use methods for installing a brand new sense of self worth.
