A reason to live

This story is not for the meek at heart. It handles some tough topics (depression and addiction) with honesty and insight. What is truly unique about this book is how it becomes a scavenger hunt to find meaning and purpose in life…a reason to live. I especially enjoyed the humor in the dialogue between characters which adds levity to the read. I tend to see the end coming in most books I read, but this one kept me guessing. Ill be looking for more books by Amy Glover!

Powerful, Gripping story about finding yourself!

Letters to Javi is a story that filled me with all of the emotions. Sadness, hope, love, happiness, excitement are all experienced while following this story. The main character, Mya, feels like a real person throughout the story, someone that many could relate to. She has real problems that you do not read about often. It's refreshing to have an author go there. With each letter Mya finds the excitement of what comes next builds. When we finally get to the end, the slightly supernatural twist is unexpected and welcomed. Following the growth of Mya makes me excited to see what's next in life for her.
