Audiobook version - Excellent reader

This book resonated for me as few before, but I've yet to see any comments on the reader, Jordan Bridges. This is among the finest and most engaging readings of a any work I've acquired. While not perfect, Bridges hits Harris' tone and intent time after time, matching him almost note for note. At times angry, sarcastic, witty, emotive and always passionate, this is a very fine effort that deserves recognition and respect. I hope we are lucky enough to hear Harris' next work read by Bridges.

the author clearly shows the danger to the human race in continuing down the present path. I loved this book...it should be required reading.

Harshly critical of mainly Christianity, and all religion in general. one sided, and confrontational, but like all his agruments well reasoned, logically consistant, and complete.

loved it! essentially a short version of "the end of faith". two classic books.

An excellent and devastating critique of religion

This is a great introduction to some of the best atheist arguments. Sam Harris writes in a way that clearly articulates deep ideas without the clutter or over simplification of some other authors. I highly recommend this book as well as the Moral Landscape which I consider to be one of the best books ever written on the subject of morality.

A brief, well written set of arguments for his position. Very good read and an excellent companion to his other works.

Everyone needs to read this! Seriously.

This is a very important book that everyone in the world should read for the sake of our world! I realize this will not happen but if I had one wish it would be to transmit the message of this book into every living person’s brain, with understanding,simultaneously! I believe that this could truly save our civilization. Without this common understanding, I have great fear for our future as a planetary society.
Thank you Sam Harris for being a voice of reason in the melee of humanity!

Well written letter, needs to be republished

Although published a few years ago, this book is as relevant as ever. Maybe even more so today.
