"Dance with me, Kirby." Dru's voice was just a whisper, her hand reaching out to grasp Kirby's.

She didn't know how it happened, but Kirby found herself pulled to her feet and held in Dru's arms. She wanted to blame it on the margarita, but she couldn't lie to herself. There was something magnetic about the feel of Dru's arms around her. She allowed herself to relax into the redhead's embrace and began to sway to the music.

When the song ended they continued to sway together dreamily for several long minutes. As their feet finally stopped moving Dru pulled Kirby closer, her hand sliding up her back to caress her neck. Kirby gulped as a shiver shot through her.

Would you consider the audio edition of Lesbian: Private Investigations to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version, but I enjoyed the audio version.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked seeing the women as private investigators, a job usually portrayed by men.

Simone Carter is a good author who can pack in alot of story into a short story. Passion and heat between Kìrby and Drew was truly beautiful.
Lissa Blackwell did a great job with narrating, her character voices are totally believable and there is a really nice pace and flow to the book. I recommend this book even if lesbian stories aren't normally your choice.

Well done

This is a well done piece of fiction, combining romance, erotica and a little bit of action. Lissa Blackwell did a credible job as the reader as the author stretched out both the length and the content of her work, this one is a good deal,and a good listen.

Just what ya need to put in the right place of mind. Great voice with a story to follow.

Kirby and Drew are so beautiful together

I was surprise by just how good the story line is in this book considering how short the book is, but it packs a lot in. The love story between Kirby and Drew is sweet and beautiful as well as passionate and hot.

It's interesting to watch Kirby come to terms with not being straight, her thought process as she realizes that she's attracted to Drew is very revealing.

I'd recommend this book even if lesbian stories aren't normally your preference.

Lissa Blackwell did a great job with the narration, her character voices are all believable and there is a really nice pace and flow to the recording.

Good story

This has a good beginning, but then it gets a little bit rushed. Dru is a great character, with a very interesting personality. Kirby is mostly cute :P

I think I would have enjoyed the story more if the development of the romance had been slower. This is a short story, and we have a straight woman who finds she likes women, enters into a relationship (with her boss and landlady!) and gets engaged in what? two weeks?

Nevertheless, the writing is good, and I'll be checking a longer story by this author.
