In the early 14th century the all powerful Templar organisation is destroyed by greedy kings eager for their banking wealth. And yet the Templars had warning. The southern wealth went east across the mountains to Switzerland. The northern wealth went further north to Scotland, the edge of the known world. In the late 17th century when James II is deposed by William of Orange, the land is wracked by fighting and the struggle to survive. Government troops viciously scour the north in search of the hidden treasure. The man responsible for keeping the treasure hidden - Lord James Imroch - secures the Templar treasure, changes his name to Meredith and sails to the New World for a new life, the trigger for banks being created in Britain and Switzerland. In the 21st century, Robert Meredith has had a bloody military career in the US. He seeks the peace and isolation of hidden Scotland and sets up a career as a poacher on the edge of the old Imroch estate, unknowing anything of the history. His peace and isolation is shattered by the madness of the gamekeeper and the appearance of the beautiful Jessica Fox. Pursued by the gamekeeper out for murder, Robert and Jessica head underground through ancient hidden caves to an eerie place of age old tombs - and the guns of the current owners with much to hide. Yet Robert seems to know so much and he has no idea why ... until they discover the hidden Templar treasure. Yet now they have to fight for their lives.
