Excellent for practice with minor mistakes

This lesson bundle is exactly what I was looking for. There are some minor typos here and there, and there is a mistake in Lesson 5. Instead of translating "English" to "英文" they mixed up and put "的" (a possessive particle as the translation). Other than those minor details, I think this is a fantastic companion for any mandarin learner.

no learning guide

just downloaded the audio book and the pdf. unfortunately, the pdf was 3 pages of nothing (not the 100+ pages as advertised. bummer.

No recommendation from me.

While I really enjoy Chinese101's podcast and other resources, I thought this felt careless and rushed.
Audio edits were poorly done, cutting off parts of dialogues, not much detail for anything. Much better off listening via the website or app.
Thankful to be able to return this and volume 2, which after this one, I didn't even try out.
