Just amazing!

I love the story!! I just wish the book was longer :)! This book and the last one have left me wanting more and I can never get enough! I can't wait for the next installment!

So many feels…

Let me hit the performance piece first. Bray is a boss and I was worried that Grant would not be able to live up to that legacy. I need not have worried. Awesome job man, thank you.
I really dug the narrative flashback style this was told in. That gut punch in the beginning was rough and by the time you got around to telling that part of the tale, the suspense had me really on edge. Ansbach and Cole nailed this for me.

Love this book series

The story has kept me coming back. I will take a break from the series but then just continue thinking what is gonna happen next

Good story but disjointed writing structure

I liked this installment as a battle.
The characters didn’t develop very much.
The story structure itself was completely schizophrenic. I couldn’t tell you the order anything happened. There was an obnoxious amount of the narrator blowing plot points then saying “I’ll tell you later”

Love the series, excellent book

This is among my favorite series of books not the least because of the real rangering going on in these stories! Love the ranger interviews at the end of each book!

Great book

Series getting better and better. Enjoying it all. The mix of it all is great. Narration is good.

Best series and Narrator is one of the best

I don't review much but this is easily one of the best Audible series ever. I sound like a fan boy but as a combat vet of the 3/504/82 ABN, no other fiction series captures the real mix of chaos and professionalism of combat arms ops from the deadpan fatalistic humor point of view of "lite" combat arms troopers. But what really motivated me to write this is Chris Grant, he flipping does voices better than anybody I've heard in 1000s of hours of Audibles. Each character distinctive and you would swear it's a different narrator. Chris, you must be a crack linguist/voice-actor/multi-personality dude...lol, I hope Wargate keeps you on retainer, like forever. The only negative is if the authors decide to end this series... No really, just give us more cold-brew, Nick and Jason. AATW!
