After his sister was killed in a stage coach robbery, Logan resigned as the sheriff to become a bounty hunter and bring the responsible men to justice. Paulina was the only survivor of the robbery and she may just hold the information needed to find the responsible men. Their weeks together on the trail may just bring some unexpected results...

Barbara Goss is a master storyteller, and I always enjoy her works.

This is the first book I’ve listened to that has been narrated by R. William James. I enjoyed his performance and would gladly listen to more of his narrations.

Paulina and Logan

Another wholesome and entertaining book from Barbara Goss. I like that I can listen to these books and not worry about what I am listening to when my kids walk into the room.

R. William James does and A+ narration. This is an all around great listen.

Logan and Paulina

This was a nice little western. I have only read a few western books and I really liked this one. The story was action backed and full of loss due to the times and vigilante people in this era. R. William James does a great job.

what a sweet story!

I really enjoyed listening to this story. The plot kept you guessing until the very end. Several love matches made it extra special.

The power of love & forgiveness

Sheriff Logan McGuire is devastated when his beloved sister is killed in a stage coach robbery. He resigns his position and becomes a bounty hunter to hunt down the robbers. Paulina, a former saloon dancer, and the only survivor of the robbery, asks to travel with Logan. She can identify the robbers and knows where they’re headed. Logan and Paulina become friends during their travel...will it become more? When they get to town, Paulina gets a job at a saloon/brothel but Logan rescues her. Paulina thinks that Logan is her first customer, instead he pays for her first night and shares his christian beliefs. After that night Paulina is convinced to change her life for the better. However, she is soon kidnapped by the lead robber...will Logan come to the rescue in time? The supporting characters and their stories are also riveting.
This book is chocked full of action, some romance, but most of all, forgiveness and it’s power to change lives. I look forward to more stories in this series.

A Hunt for Justice

The Lawkeepers series by different authors is truly wonderful. But this story by Barbara Goss is at the top. A bounty hunter waning justice and hunting for the killer. A woman finagles her way in to identify him. There are a lot of twist and turns and emotions that play out that had me anxious to see what would happen. The narrator was perfect for the voices and with Barb's words this came together as a must listen! Loved it as I do all of this author's stories!

Very Interesting Characters

I really enjoyed the story of Logan and Paulina, it’s got excitement from the start. I liked the interaction between the couple and also found the supporting characters interesting. Barb Goss writes stories that really hold your interest. I liked the narrator also.

Let this audio rescue you

This is my first listen from Barbara. It was a great story and listen . She has depth in her stories and the good thing is she knows the time period very well . It mak s you want to go and see it .

The hero is Logan. Heroine is Paulina.
Logan is the sheriff but something goes wrong . He and Paulina meet after a stage coach robbery . The robbers open fire and Logan’s sister gets killed during the robbery and Logan has only one goal in mind to find the killers . Logan and Paulina make a team to find the killers . But Logan has to give up being a Sheriff because he can’t hunt them like he wants to .
Grab it and find does Logan find the killers and find out does Logan and Paulina make it as a couple .
The narrator William James has a great voice . His voice is strong , clear and steady voice. He did the parts perfectly .

Perils of Paulina

I've probably said this before but it remains true: author Barb Goss manages complex plots which are consistently entertaining while presenting plausible people. This story is an excellent contribution to the Lawkeepers series being offered by various authors, and provides a movie-worthy script with a fair number of Perils of Pauline moments (perfectly apt and apropos, since our heroine is Paulina!) for narrator R. William James to skillfully emote. Meanwhile, a proposed venture between two of the women promises material for a spin-off series! Hint, hint, Ms Goss!

Protect at all Costs

Enjoyed listening to this book. Logan is searching for a criminal, when he meets Paulina. She has information that he needs and agrees to take her with him. Being a Bounty Hunter is not a safe job to begin with, but now he is responsible for Paulina too. There is an attraction also, but that could lead to more trouble for Logan.
